We have a new brand called 10 Peaks for winter this year. They’re an independent glove brand named after the 10 Peaks mountain range in Alberta, Canada. They make gloves, but with a difference…
Their gloves feature the C-Zip which is a zipper that runs across the back of the hand, allowing your hands to easily slip in and out of the glove without having to take them completely off. Great if you need to do anything with your hands which requires any kind of dexterity.
Here’s a video of the C-Zip:
What we’ve got
We’re stocking 2 pairs of gloves, the Mount Little and the Mount Bowlen. They are essentially the same glove but the Bowlen is a ‘lobster’ style glove with separate finger and thumb and mitt for the remaining 3 fingers.
They’re designed as ski gloves and have soft yet tough tanned buffalo leather with overlays in high wear areas along with an Extreme Talon Grip which is a pre curved shape for less fabric in the palm for excellent dexterity and grip. The rest of the glove is a soft shell fabric with a water repellent and windproof membrane and they have Thinsulate Type G-120g insulation on the back of hand and palm as well as Polyester Bemberg lining.
