To celebrate our first summer with Patagonia we’re running a competition!

The winner will receive £100 to spend on new season Patagonia products at facewest.co.uk!

There’s also a 2nd place prize of £50 and a 3rd place prize of £25.

Patagonia are a huge international company, but at their heart they do genuinely try to minimise their impact on the planet.  One of the ways they do this is to make clothing that performs and lasts.  Every item of their clothing is designed to last for as long as possible, be repairable, and finally when it’s no longer repairable, it can be returned to them for recycling or repurposing.

Their “Stories We Wear” campaign focuses on the stories which can only be built up if your hard used clothing actually lasts long enough for it to have some adventures.  With this theme in mind we’re running a competition, with Patagonia, to find out which bits of outdoor kit you really rate and have really stood up to the test – they don’t have to be Patagonia, just any bit of kit which you really rate and just can’t go without.  Details on how to enter are below.

To enter:

• Send a photo of your favourite bit of kit (anything, not just Patagonia) accompanied by a sentence or two telling us what it is and why you like it so much, to competitions@facewest.co.uk.

• If you don’t want to send a photo then you can write a paragraph (300 – 400 words) about your favourite bit of kit and send it to competitions@facewest.co.uk.

• We’ll pick our favourites and the top 3 will win credit to spend on any spring/summer 2016 Patagonia products at facewest.co.uk.

• 1st place gets £100, 2nd place gets £50 and 3rd place gets £25.

• Closing date is Sunday 12th June.

Terms and Conditions:

• Photos must be of reasonable clarity and you must state what the item is and why you like it.
• All entries must be received to competitions@facewest.co.uk by 23.59 on Sunday 12th June.
• All entrants’ email addresses will be passed to Patagonia for marketing purposes.
• Any content included in the entry may be used by Facewest Ltd for marketing purposes.
• Winners will be notified by email to the address the entry was received from.
• 1st place prize is £100.  2nd place prize is £50. 3rd place prize is £25.
• Prizes unclaimed within 3 months of the closing date will be forfeit.
• Prizes can only be spent with Facewest on stocked spring/summer 2016 Patagonia items at the standard website price at facewest.co.uk.
• Facewest rewards credit can be used in conjunction with a prize but will not be earned on any item paid for with a prize.
