Jon Morgan is a UK based Guide, living in Sheffield, currently working as a doctor, though a short working week allows him plenty of time for long weekend activities. Most of his guiding in the last few years has been on rock in the UK and ski touring in the Alps. He is the the only practicing doctor in the UK who is also an IFMGA guide.
“I’ve spent many happy days in these dexterous, windproof and versatile gloves. I love the breathability in particular, and this is my favourite softshell glove. I use them all the time when ski touring, and even use them in temperatures well below zero with chemical handwarmers, then put overmitts on for descents. Biking, running, crag approaches, winter walking to the pub, they are good for most things except hosing rain. The leather on the thumb could come a little further round, but my original pair are still going strong after well over a hundred days of use.”
