Our french connection reports that yesterday in the 3 valleys was fantastic. January style temperatures, clear blue skies plus a metre of fresh snow made the piste and backcountry near perfect. Get out there! One word of warning, watch out for sudden temperature rises in the snowpack when the weather does become more seasonal, fresh snow plus increasing temperatures will always increase the incidence of avalanches. If in doubt, hike out!
