BARRYVOX PULSE – New 4.2 firmware available
While they may have been around for 8 years now, Mammut are still committed to ensuring the performance of their Barryvox Pulse units. They have recently released version 4.2 firmware. This update predominantly addresses user feedback, which identified isolated cases where a prolonged switching time from SEARCH to SEND may occur when using the Rescue-SEND function in the PULSE Barryvox. Firmware version 4.2 corrects this issue in specific SEND to SEARCH configurations.
PERIODIC DIAGNOSTIC CHECKS
Mammut recommend that all their transceivers undergo diagnostic checks at least every 3 years. facewest.co.uk are a licensed Mammut service center so we can perform these checks. This process involves every function of your transceiver being tested and you’ll get a report confirming that everything is working correctly.
