MSR brought out a few new and updated products earlier in the year and it’s fair to say that they’ve proved pretty popular.
Access Tents
Tough and stable hiking tent which neatly fills the gap between a lightweight trekking tent and a full on mountaineering tent. If you’re after a new tent check out the blog I wrote on our tent range.

MSR Trailshot Micro Filter
This simple little filter has sold like hot cakes since we first got hold of them earlier in the year and it’s easy to see why. Size wise it’s pretty small for a filter – the filter part fits in your palm. To use it you simply stick the end of the pipe in the water source and squeeze the filter between your fingers and palm to pump the water through. With a particle size of 0.2 microns will filter out 99.9999% of bacteria and 99.9% of protozoa, and particulates.
It’s easy to clean and has a replaceable cartridge, which will filter 2000 litres before it needs replacing.

MSR Pocket Rocket 2
This benchmark tiny stove has been upgraded! The Pocket Rocket 2 is lighter and able to handle smaller diameter pans than its predecessor. It weighs just 73g and folds up to fit in the palm of your hand. It’s not lacking in power either as it can boil a litre of water in 3.5 minutes. As a tiny stove with next to no pack size it’s perfect for anyone looking for the ultimate fast and light solution.

Ceramic Cookware
The MSR non stick cookware has been upgraded with a ceramic coating on the interior. The new ceramic coating replaces the old teflon non stick coating and is a big improvement: It’s scratch-resistant, easy to clean and handles high-temperature cooking.
They still have MSR’s useful clip on, clip off handle and are sized so that they can nest inside one another or space saving.
Got to the Ceramic Solo Pot, Ceramic 2 Pot Set or Ceramic Flex Skillet.
