Dear Customer,
As you may be aware there have been a few cases of BCA Tracker 2 avalanche transceivers entering programming mode inadvertently. The problems have only affected a few transceivers worldwide so far but the problem does exist. You are receiving this letter as you are on our database of customers who have purchased a BCA Tracker 2 from Facewest.
You are now invited to return your BCA Tracker 2 to the address below. There is a new version of the software (r04) plus a new front cover for your transceiver which eliminates the problem.
You are advised you return your transceiver on a trackable postage service like Royal Mail Special Delivery which means it is also insured. You will need to pay for posting the transceiver to Anatom, but they will upgrade it and return it to you free of charge. Please include a short note with a daytime contact number and a return delivery address. Your transceiver will be returned by Parcel Force and MUST be signed for so please use an address where this will be possible. If you need a fast turnaround time, please contact Anatom directly beforehand to check the current processing time.
